Just figured I'd get a nice late-night post in on the ol' Blogger before I hop into the sack, to let the happy pixies run around through my head...Jason-san, you are one amazing fellow, and there's no place in the world that I can imagine you other than a Japanese beer garden overlooking a pastoral scene that hearkens back to days of yore. Somehow, that soothes my nerves--lets me know that things indeed are right in the world.

Unfortunately, my world isn't all that wonderful; tests seem to be flying at me from every direction and my enthusiasm for studying simply doesn't have the same alacrity that the assignments tend to (sad face). Other than that, I'm content. The weather is finally settling into something approaching normality, and I feel that there isn't a great deal to be done besides the business of living. This is a feeling I haven't had in a good long time, and I welcome it with arms open so wide that you could fit a small cadre of religious fanatics through--imitation pope hats and all. In summary, drink, drink, and drink some more for me dear friend; it is only through inebriation that Mankind shall one day acheive true enlightenment. It behooves you to not let this point slip too easily from your grasp.

Don't Hate the Player, Hate the Game.

This entire election hinged on winning and maintaining votes in the radical Christian population in America. This in itself is startling enough, but the underlying cause of Bush's election--the fact that his voter base consisted of an ever-increasing number of evangelical Christians--has perhaps far more implications in the daily lives of Americans than we can be sure of at our present moment....

Aww, crap...gotta go. Talk more about this later.
